Wondering if there is anybody out there that has changed recently the knock sensors on a 2005 and up Tacoma? I have done most of the labour to the point that I can see the knock sensors. Can anyone tell me if that pipe can be removed from cylinder valley to get to the sensors without taking the heads off?

    Cheers!

Looked at the service manual and it says you only need to remove one of the heads to get at the three bolts for the pipe. Not much better... Maybe you could fish the bolts out for the pipe. However the hard part might be getting them back in.
