I spent a long time trying to fix a leak that I thought was coming from that cowl seam, but ended up being from the windshield seal.

Next time you have rain coming, stuff a bunch of paper towels around the A pillar, door panels, and around the firewall on the passenger side. Then check which ones are wet and you might find that the leak isn't coming from the cowl seam.

Thanks for posting that pdf. My truck doesn't leak but I didn't know about that.

I usually suspect a leaking windshield or clogged ac drain. Or a sunroof drain if equipped, not sure if 1st gen/best gen had an oem sunroof.

Mine was leaking on the driver’s side in multiple places. The a pillar was wet, the windshield and inside in a seam down under the wipers. I used a spray that I could only find at Lawson Products. It’s called leak check and you can get these really long spray tubes that can reach places you can’t see. She’s all sealed up now. I chased that leak for two years. Good luck!

Have you looked where the antenna coax goes into the cab ?

Water gets on the Coax surface tension holds it to the coax it gets into the cab.

Does this only happen when parked or only when driving ??
