You can still take them, is Mexico there is always ways. People would pay the Mexican customs, they would let you go on your way. Once you get to your destination people drives around with either expire plates or some from other vehicles lol. You may get pulled over once in a while for it and money can take care of it again, but you are risking for the car to be impound if you get pulled over by SAT. Now, if you live by a border town you are allowed to own a vehicle with US plates if you are a permanent resident of the US (if you have a green card).

Dang, I havent seen one of those in a while. Those guys used to be as thick as a plague. I really got a kick out of the occasional school bus pulling a box truck, with a tacoma inside of the box.

My wife loves the newer Taco especially when the camper is attached. The older Taco is ok but she likes her Altima better

Fiancé is supportive of the tacoma. Down for off-roading, camping out in the middle of no where and me spending time fabricating.

But anytime we pass a built taco or Toyota the following happens:

Me: eye the shit out of it, check out mods, drool etc

Fiancé: do you want to pull over, so you two can talk mods and jerk each other off?

    Me: Dutch rudder all day

Well...if he's happily married to her, I would think he loves her taco. ;)

My wife will only drive a manual. Her Corolla is a 6spd manual. When she drives the Tacoma, she'll call me and say "Where's 6th gear?!" or "I keep trying to find 6th."

Our daughters learned to drive in my truck. They prefer auto, but can drive manual. I told them that it's one of those things in life that they must know how to do.

Wife loves mine; on the rare occassion she gets to drive it, she gets all giddy. It sits higher off the road than her highlander so she can see better. She doesn't like my spit bottle though....i tell her it comes with the territory.

What kind of shocks are you running?

I see a few 1st gens driven by women on Salem Rd. and Prince St. My son's GF didn't like one of his cars because it was loud and lowered. He gave it to me and took one of my other cars. I had to change the exhaust because it was too loud.

I saw this PreRunner at the Ace Hardware on Morningside and Prince. I thought its owner might be working there. I went back the next day asked about it. It must have been a customer that parked on the far side of the lot. I would offer help them with it if I knew who owned it.

I’ve just got the original shocks. Just rides rough cause the 10 ply tires that weren’t rotated at all when I got the truck. Once I get new ones it outta ride better

You are welcome to drive mine anytime you like if want to see what different tires and shocks are like. You want to do that before I install some AALs on the rear though.
    That may change my ride.
