I guess I don't care how long they last in the rain, what about never being used for 3 years then needed? I mean Phoenix gets a bit every now and then? The 22" on my 2019 Taco or the 17" on my '02. It seems like I change them each time it rains, which also means most of the places are out of stock, since most people here do the same thing!

Inserts are the way to go. The OEM beam is meant for the windshield, everything else is just "universal" that may or may not work well.

Shit. I thought I was the only one. I’m a Tech at a shop that specializes in Euro Cars. We only replace complete wipers blades. Anywhere from $60-$150 for the set. For my personal vehicle I buy refills from Toyota. They cost me $9 and I’ve been doing it for the last 5 years. I have to deal with so many after market wiper companies it’s not even funny. The stock refills from toyota for my truck are awesome. Too funny.

I remove the OEM blades and replace with OEM blades. Then I replace the inserts on the removed blades. Then I’m ready for the next blade re & re. Just buy inserts and keep cycling through the 2 blades.

Anyone know if sightline wipers have refillable inserts?

Exactly what I do with every vehicle that I have ever owned. Nothing like the OEM blades for best contact with the windshield and rotating between 2 sets means you are never without, changing in about 2 minutes, replacing the inserts at your convenience.
