...cause my Automatic Sound Levelizer doesn't turn up near enough to cover freeway noise.
Wish there was an Overkill 9000 setting.

That sounds like SO much effort though. It's snowing here & I've gotta save my energy for pushing the traction control button.

I don't have that fancy stuff on my 2010.

But I did put sound mat on my roof to add some insulation in summer.
one of the side effects is it dramatically reduced the wind noise.

So much that the next trip up north we didn't even have the radio on.

Great mod, I also put sound mat on the drivers door and used 3M undercoating on the back of the A pillar cover.

I've seen that mod, it seems like a lot of work but nice to have it done. Most of the noise I'm getting though is from that annoying whine under my hood + the TRD catback farting along. The ASL doesn't make near enough difference to cover it.

I run a Magnaflow 18 X 6 inch round straight through muffler with all cats.

I think one of the best flowing muffler but not crazy loud. Same style BAM makes his mufflers.
Different sizes for tuning the sound you like and max performance.
    14, 18, 27 and 30 and 4, 5, 6 and 7" sizes.

I can't tell you want to do about that terrible whine under the hood.
If you drop your truck off for a few days I can get rid of it for you... :D

Why thank you, so kind of you to offer!

I like Magnaflow products. When I rebuilt my C3 Corvette I had the local muffler shop slip on a bunch of different brands & models, and the Magnaflows sounded the best by far ... deep, throaty, commanding but not too loud. Do they still do lifetime guarantee?
