    Agreed, but three different types of locks in front of a bunch of hiking hippies with a truck full of toys wouldn't look good if DNR or LE rolled up. If push came to shove and night was about to fall, thats another story. :D

    I would of never used; bolt cutters, cut off wheel or a chain with the hook on the lock chained to your truck.

    Same thing happened to us! Came down the mountain to a locked gate. Tried calling the wife, no service. We ended up following logging roads up over the mountain from Gleneden Beach down to Depoe Bay, where there was another locked gate. But we could see houses over the berm, so I walked into a yard with no back fence, knocked on the door and asked if he minded us driving through his yard. Luckily we’d been shooting and he was wearing a Remington shirt. His boys helped us move a trailer from beside the house so we could get by and we drove through his yard and out into the street. We were late for dinner :)
