Holy sideburns and leisure suits batman!

    Who can't love SRV?

Been lucky enough to see BB King in concert - much more low key affair than I was used to (my music tastes are pretty widespread) but I enjoyed it very much. Also saw Buddy Guy and Joe Bonamassa. Joe stole the show, phenomenal guitar player. And Buddy was stoned out of his mind...it was in an older theater and from my seat I could see a little backstage, watched him for 5 or 10 minutes before he went on...

    Good topic Lisa

    Grew up with this record

    Can't forget BB

    http://youtu.be/pC4DDkye8FU

not straight blues by a severe definition but blusey nonetheless

    http://youtu.be/1ZARsnIRGqc

    lil slowhand

    http://youtu.be/jvouiDJSTUE

    John Mayhall w/mick taylor

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JvU5X5NTcM4&feature=share&list=PL47C976A8E8E4B178

this is one of those songs that just gets ya right there. Some nights even the angles weep and I would be a liar if I said I never shared a tear with them.

    http://youtu.be/RY3FweScwh4

the two mayhall tunes and this last one are paired on my Zune, they have been on the same playlist for years.

Another hard blues, still makes me think a lot of my ex, still hard to listen to.

this is the best version of this song by far

Man nothing bring's back memories like a song can, and not much else will bring a man to his knees like a woman can.. Old songs can haunt. Music is deep like the ocean and the feelings come in waves.

    Here's another awesome blues guitarist...
