Anyone else have a 2015 TRD Pro that's missing certain pro options..?

That's where I bought my 2014 OR. Easiest transaction I've ever been witness to on a vehicle. They beat any other dealership I could find in TX who was even willing to try and get me one.

When you say bumper to bumper what does that include? I take it, you bought an aftermarket warranty? The trucks comes with a 5yr 60k power train warranty for free. Did they also charge you for a free warranty?

Probably already mentioned but when the VIN was ran on my '15 sport, it came back a PRO. That's a sport.

Yeah.... I have noticed several dealers on cars.com are listing sports as TRD Pros. It's too bad, because I am sure there are buyers that believe they are truely getting a Pro.

Technically not false advertising if the vin comes back as a pro. It's on you for not doing your homework on what truck this really is. Either way though if you're happy with what you got for the money then who cares.

P.S. The bilsteins on the truck are you sure not just the stockers, or 5100's?

I got my Pro new for $36,500 and had it delivered to me from Dallas. It's crazy what these trucks go for in the used market.

Yes, yes and YES! Man that dealer sounds like they should eat a dick honestly. I would be over the moon pissed right now, but if the OP is happy with that price... I suppose that is all that matters.

How the hell can the blue book be more than what the vehicle cost new? But yeah, like another member said, you should take it back because it was miss advertised. You overpaid at 34k, and paid Pro price for a sport.

I paid $34.5 for my TRD OR with JBL /nav. And some other junk. I ordered it from the factory that way, was not a dealer left over.

Edit: That price was also out the door as was yours.

Looked at the OR, but wanted a LB and the heated Softex seats, plus the other Limited items (except chrome, but that's easy to get rid of).

Yeah I hear you, I wanted heated leather, but walso wanted the OR. Couldnt have both that year, dont know about other years. Looking back I should have got the sport and saved a few thousand. I dont used the OR like I should anymore.

Up here in Nor Cal, none of the dealers would negotiate at all, they all wanted MSRP and were completely unwilling to look for the exact configuration I wanted; I could either pay the sticker for what they had on the lot or I could pound sand, they wouldn't even take down my phone number.

To make a long story short, it's good to have friends who work for car dealer groups. My buddy wasn't at a Toyota dealership but the parent group also owns a Toyota dealership in So Cal and they worked out an "at cost" (or very slightly above) trade.

Where in NorCal are you @Lostsheep

I got mine on order after 10 minutes with no price arguments, and sent 2 other TW members to my dealership who both got great deals with no BS.

Unfortunately my contact later relocated to TX.

San Jose. Capitol Toyota is my closest dealership and I will never go back and I actively bad mouth them every chance I get. They had zero willingness to negotiate, would not check other dealers for the configuration I wanted, would not take down my contact info in case one showed up, and then tried to tell me they would order one for me but I had to give them $1000 and then 6 weeks later they would tell me what the final price was. When I actually got my truck, I took it to them for the "free" servicing and caught them not performing the tasks they said they had. They made up numbers for the amount of brake material left on the rear shoes; how did they measure the shoes if they hadn't even removed the wheel? My friends and I had suspected this so we tested them. They did it everytime and I've read here on TW of others having similar issues. Stevens Creek was much nicer but again, no price negotiation. Didn't even bother with Sunnyvale after I had my car dealer buddy on the hunt.
