Just like cars, I think classic bike prices are skyrocketing. There was a Godet at a local exotic meetup a few years back. Sexiest thing there by a long shot:

A friend is struggling with the single T case stick on his Bronco and wants to go twin stick. It keeps popping out of 2Hi when his hubs are locked.

Would love one but no sure of my knee's expiration date. Used to think everyone should know how to drive one. Now that's like saying everyone should know how to churn butter.

Good guess! Yes. It has both a suspension and body lift. He was saying that the bellcrank adjustment is touchy and wanted to delete it.

They’re not bad once you develop the muscle memory in your feet to make all gear changes in the 1500-2000 RPM range.

The olden days, when you wrapped your shifter in pipe insulation so it didn’t hurt as bad when you slammed it into the middle passenger’s knee.

I can't remember exactly. It is either a detached vinyl boot or nothing? I will ask him.

Oh yeah. I took it for a drive a couple times. Being only a three speed, it was tough to get a feel for what gear it was in due to all the movement.

Oooooo, lightning sticks! I haven't seen those in forever. I had a '75 Camaro with them. Very much hated them.

I always love tree shifting in a 63 Nova. Reverse was back and up, backup. Made perfect sense.

The Covette in the video is running a racing manual trans very similar in design to a Lenco racing manual transmission

The Lightning rod is shifter designed for an automatic transmission

I realized this after my post. Probably should've researched first/posted later. Very interesting set-up.

Looks like a medical condition. I can’t think of the medical term, but I think it begins with blue...

    Work in progress...
I was thinking of the Bultaco. I recall you could use the left or the right side for the shifter. I think, best I can remember, it was still 1 down and the rest up on both sides on the Bultaco's? Anyone remember those bikes? In the 80's you could pick one up, that actually ran, for a couple hundred bucks.
