Anyone else have a squeaky clutch pedal?

Chiming in, this just happened to me today. Pedal started squeaking like a sailing ship whenever I moved the pedal at any kind of slower speed. Slathered every place I saw grease with additional Super Lube PTFE silicone grease, including behind the pedal where it actuates on the plunger thing. All gone now.

Touching on another point in this thread, I did have a very slow to return clutch pedal at one point a couple years back, but that was in -25deg weather.

 

That happens up here all the time in the winter. About 1min and 2-3 pumps of the clutch and it’s back to normal

 

Had this issue pop up for me recently, took it to the stealership and of course they could not replicate the issue. Told me they adjusted the pedal and I should be good to go. I'm sure I'll be back in here figuring out where to apply grease within a week.

 

Yep...greased. 5k miles and its back

Also pedal ....slow.. first few pumps when below ~35°

 

I had a squeaky clutch as well. Dealership greased mine in Aug, but didn't last long. Tech noted the pedal was good when pushed straight on this morning, but sqeaked when pushed at an angle. New clutch assembly tomorrow.

 

Getting this taken care of at the dealer today. Have they made any improvements to the parts? Replaced the first time in 2017, 30k miles later, replaced again.

 

Yeah. There is a TSB out there with updated parts for the 2021 MY, I believe. There is a big thread about it, but I cannot find it.

All that said, a few folks have reported noises after the TSB or on 2020+ Tacos. Seems hit or miss all around.

 

I thought I had a squeaky clutch, but it’s turns out it’s my leather seat rubbing on the plastic mounding around the bottom of the seat.
Any of you encountered this and/or have a remedy!?
