    after doing a little off roading the other day I got on the highway and the shifting seemed a little harsh but then when it shifted it self from 4 to 5 it revved up to 5000 rpms before it dropped into gear very strange going in tommrow to have the tecs look at it also truck only has 7k on it

    I don't have that problem, but it sounds like your transmission might be a little low on fluid.

    If that was the problem don't you think it would happen in every year change I'm think torqe converter

    Probably needs some fluid added.
