First off let me say I absolutely LOVE my new truck! One problem I noticed lately is that it takes her a while to warm up once I get started. The engine stays cold, it seems as if the lubricants aren't getting to the proper parts, and just seems sluggish in getting going.

If anyone else is having problems having sex with their truck please post them here.

21 this morning when I left for the across town jaunt to Walmart. Betty warmed up and ran like a sewing machine. Happy with my 4 cylinder.:)

Nope, and it's pretty cold here... -10 degrees Celsius at night, starting him up after nightshift and he's totally fine. But, I also don't push him hard right off the bat, so I might not be noticing it, I do drive down the block to the highway and up to 100 kmh (60 mph) right away though with no problem.

When I sex my truck, warming up is the hardest and most frustrating part. You can't just get in and go. It takes time and effort to get it to just the right temperature.

What I like to do is, pull the dipstick a few times during warm up process. I use my infrared thermometer to constantly check the temperature. As soon as it's at the right point...

I POP arrrrg h hhghhgfhhrrrr... oh sorry... excuse me... In the truck.
Then I drive away. Simple as that!

Are you trying to revive this one?
    Great find.
I had no problems warming up this morning. The son rises as the sun rises.
