UPDATE: The problem was fixed when I cleared the cache of the bluetooth system app on the phone.

My phone stopped pairing to my radio - for phone. Still pairs for audio. I have to delete/unpair my phone, then re-pair it. But once I shut the truck off, it wont pair again.

    I have the JBL w/ entune & a Samsung Galaxy S8.

My 2 gen stopped pairing for calls but still works for streaming audio. Really annoying because I have to disable bluetooth on my phone before trying to answer it otherwise it messes everything up.

I fixed it by clearing the car from the phone BT menu and resetting Entune then pairing the phone back to the car. There's a thread that will help you through the steps if you need. I can't find it in my browsing hiatory. This was about a month ago I think...

It's rare mine works continuously for a long time. I have an S8 as well and my phone can be in front of the damn thing and it still can't find it. Kind of silly because I feel like at this point bluetooth is just such old technology that it should have zero issues. I think it just kind of is what it is?

I had tons in my 2017 TRDOR, multiple times a week it would disconnect and I've have to reboot the radio. I would even update Entune, it was annoying.

Yes, called Apple,of course blamed it on Toyota. Called Toyota just now, they are aware of the issue and are working with Apple to fix it. If you turn off Bluetooth it will work for now or unsync contacts it seems to work.
