wasnt this the Tarheel national, NBL race in Tanglewood, NC? Pretty sure I was there in either 95 or 96. Would've raced 15-16 expert then iirc.

SoCal is the stolen bike capital of the world. I had a few stolen from me when I was a kid. :annoyed:

    I have a 2012 Quad in purple..

Only stolen one was my first 1986 Schwinn Predator Freeform EX. I had a faint glimmer of hope the one I got 2 years ago could be it until opening it up and it was originally white, mine was light blue.

Last year for the build off I entered.

Yes. You could probably get a couple hundred. I'll add some pictures from my phone of Diamond backs I've had.

1984 DB Pacer. Bought it in April 2020 for $200 and swapped the pedals and seat clamp plus removed the brakes and sold it for $200 in May 2020

    20190311_152831.jpg
1986 DB Coolstreak bought minus wheels for $95 in 2017 and used the bars, stem, headset and brakes for another project. Added wheels to the package and sold it for $95 in 2019

86 DB Viper similar to yours. Bought complete for $40 in 2017 and used the brakes for another project and traded it for the chrome Viper and $40 in 2018
    20200524_165227.jpg

The chrome 92 Viper looked better in the dark when I bought it and decided I didn't want to spend the time fixing it up. I sold it for $60 in May 2020

Here's a link to a recent sale. This one has a GT tire and a better rear brake and seat than yours but it's in the same ball park.

I ordered new decals for the Decade but can’t decide if I should put them on or not. On one hand the ones on there look decent but are kind of chewed up but they are original. On the other hand I can put new ones and clean the bike up a lot and I really don’t plan on getting rid of it.

For my money..only original once in its lifetime. Stick the new ones in a drawer and if someday the originals really do get beat to death they are still there

Kind of my thoughts. Only thing is it lives in my bedroom on a bike stand and the decals are really the only thing holding it back. But yes only original once

That plus how easy will it be down the road to purchase a new set if you replace them now and shit happens..

Not really sure about shelf life, they may not be any good 10 years from now. Like I said, I’m not going to ever sell it so that’s a moot point. I think I’ve talked myself into putting the new ones on. Still torn as I type it out loud
