The paint was AWESOME. Mine was called "goldflake". It wasn't black, it was a brownish, purple, blackish, gold color. In person it was such a great color. I would paint my Tacoma this color in a heartbeat. I've never seen a paint color like that

Kinda crazy I stumbled onto this forum. I still have my Race Inc.from 1981. I had a paper route to afford my entry fees for the weekend races. Raced from 1980 to 1984 then wrestling took over. So many old school pro names mentioned on the forum which I had a bunch of autographs, Brent Patterson, Mike Buff, R.L. Osborn, Greg Hill , Eddy King etc.. that was some good times. I'll have to grab my bike from the folks. What a past flashback I haven't thought of in literally decades. Good shit:thumbsup:

Did a hair short of a 4 mile maiden voyage according to the wife’s fancy watch thing.

Need to move the handlebars and seat a bit but man is this thing a work out :)

That’s my NS Surge Evo build. Spared no expense. Great dirt jumper and all around fun machine :)

Seriously the most versatile bike I’ve ever owned.

Very cool..and awesome to have your old bike especially with how much the RI costs now, you'd probably freak if you saw

Those were the days. Cruising around the neighborhood with your best buds on your bmx bike without a care in the world.

I do it a few times a week.... it's free (minus the cost of a bike), its exercise, it's fun, and it's a form of sanity maintenance.

Something about just getting behind bars on a warm evening and just cruzin the hood. Keepin an eye on the neighborhood.. as a grown up you'd be surprised what you can learn about your neighborhood just chillin on a ride with your wife or kid

I mountain bike often. Still love biking. I wish I was able to still ride a bmx bike (6’1”). I guess I could get a cruiser

You can roll a 20". Gotta get a long frame and some big bars..taller seatpost. Bmx bikes really ain't all that great for cruzin when your old unless your poppin curbs and hitting hop 360s.

Yeh that can be an option too. That newer skyway 24” cruiser looks dope. I think Hutch has one too.

One of my childhood besties and I used to meet at his parents' house with our bikes and ride around the old 'hood. Haven't in a couple of years but we are definitely due
