I searched for 4-5 months for a long bed access cab in dark blue but found what I wanted in red so I got it.

I don't need a DC but wanted the LB besides I never thought that any trucks from any manufacturer looked good with a DC.

We all have our preferences. Merica...

Better find that leak quick! Haha.

I love all the local breweries we have nowdays. There is one 5 mins from my house, Red Racer, it works out perfectly!

Same here. I used to go to our local favorite for kegs. When we moved back in 2006, I just went with the new local favorite. Great folks at both places. I think I only got a call once about hanging on to a keg too long.

Thing for me with the access cab was that the rear-opening door seemed like it'd be really awkward for loading groceries out of a cart and onto the back seat.

Honestly if they had 3rd gen regular cabs I would've gotten one, but IMO access cabs just look funky especially the full size trucks when they have an actual door handle.

Marketing claims demand for a single cab truck is too small. They are probably correct.

I actually like that, but I've always was a fan of suicide doors.

It is not important info, but what I do is open the front door to the first notch. This is enough room for the rear door to fully open. Then, close the front door. No trouble loading up for me. I also like it because the rear doors open almost 90deg and are short, so it is a bit easier loading / unloading.

Single cab short bed TRDOR would be too awesome to make. Toyota could put anchors for baby seats in the bed to appeal to young families.

    Lift, tires, stuff
Is the short bed even an option on the access cab?

My parents had a single cab first gen. I have had an access cab first gen, a DCSB 2nd gen, and now have a DCLB 2nd gen. I like it the best for an all around truck. I don't have kids, but can load a shit ton of stuff in it for fishing, camping, hunting, etc.

But that's why they make different models. Different people need different trucks for different reasons.

No. There are only two frame lengths for the 3rd Gen. Short for ACLB and DCSB and long for the DCLB.
