    i went from a small sports car to this truck so i can haul stuff for work and on my days off...but i never expected this truck to be this quick...:D
    i like it, but with 285s and a lift...its starting to lag it some

    2001 with; cat-back side-swept twin exhaust, elbow mod, Westin bullbar with Hella 450 driving lights, Snugtop XTR camper shell, TRD off-road 2x4-black beauty.
    I have managed over the years to get just the right balance between opening the exhaust up just a little bit and doing the elbow mod, engine always tuned, oil always right, MAF sensor cleaned every time I change out the air filter, kept everything stock... to where this 204 cubic inch v6 moves its 4000lb truck and all inside of it with satisfying authority. In other words it kicks ass for a 3.4, and with its perfect gearing it does it better than the v8s of the 80s-90s did. 4000lbs is still 4000lbs then and now.
    If you are unsatisfied with your 3.4s performance, maybe you haven't maintained her the way she should be:)
    EDIT you 2nd-gen guys have a great powerful truck with that 4litre and your gearing-I just wanted to say mine is no slouch.

    BTW, My 4.0 has more power than your 4.0's.

    SHEEEot! Man, Just install the trippleX paypass valvbody. Tie it inbetween the ECU yellow/green wire, run a power to the + on teh battery, then....Yo....Grond it in teh door jam. :cool:

    How will that affect my battery out put? I need all the power I can get to run my HID's. blow off valve and now the trippleX.
