Is it just me or has beer got too fancy? I used to drink craft and imported beer before it was cool and hip, but I'm getting a little tired of it now. I can't get the good beers I used to buy in the local stores because now they have a 1000 versions of IPA by 250 local breweries. I may be exaggerating a little bit. The other thing that stinks is if you do find a beer you like the next time you want to buy some it's been replaced by something else.

I think what really pushed me to this conclusion is we went out to eat the other night and the restaurant was having a "tap takeover" from some brewery I'd never heard of. The waiter gave us the sales pitch for the beers and when we politely declined and ordered soft drinks he gave us a snooty attitude that would make a Parisian waiter proud. It was genuinely amusing. I've never seen someone actually offended by my order in a restaurant before.

Anyone else tired of craft beer? I think I'll convert to Miller Lite. It's cheap and goes well with Tacos:)

I'm beginning to agree. Went to an Irish pub once, my go-to when I'm out of town is always a local Irish pub for drinks (and dinner if I'm lucky). Sat down and ordered a Smithwicks. Didn't even bother to check if they had it on tap. Was told they didn't carry it, but had lots of other local stuff I could try. I was uninterested.

I still enjoy a craft beer but there are just soooo many breweries now. It's like anyone that's ever brewed a bucket of beer in their bathtub has opened a micro brewery now.

Yes, I still enjoy drinking it but it’s becoming annoying. Started drinking whiskey.

I drink mostly rum... Zacapa 23, La Hechicera, Pampero Anniversario, Parce, Flor de Caña 25, Maestro Gabo, Botran, Barcelo... good stuff. Never was interested in craft beer.

I will never get tired of drinking craft beer, it's the only beer I will ever drink. It's fun and good times to taste the assortment of craft beers that are out there. I have a list and a picture of every craft beer I have enjoyed and the list keeps getting bigger. It beets drinking Budweiser, or should I say urine of Clydesdale.

    yep..
Flor de Caña is great stuff. Practically lived off the stuff when I was living in Nicaragua (although it was the cheaper, 5 year edition, still a good flavor..) These days I don't drink a whole lot. A couple pints of craft beer and I'm hung over the next day. I think it's mainly the IPAs that do it to me though.

It is getting to be a bit much. I still enjoy them, but i do feel as if there are too many now and they're trying to do wayyyy to much with some of the beers.

Yuengling for the most part, but I love some craft beer occasionally from some local places! Usually their taprooms are good hangs.

I like stouts and there's not as many microbreweries that make those (cause they aren't trendy like IPAs)

I was never on board with craft beers and I do not like IPA's.

I am a dyed in the wool Yuengling Premium drinker. I also enjoy their Lord Chesterfield Ale, and Yuengling Porter. All you suckas out of state are stuck with the Lager. IMO its not one of the better offerings coming out of the Yuengling brewery
