Anyone else waiting for their Tacoma to arrive?

I think I've dug a little too deep into where my truck is. The last update I got from the dealer was that it was at the Veracruz Port in Mexico awaiting the vessel to be shipped to the north east. Judging by what I've seen and ship paths I believe it is the carrier I have circled below (I know this is extra but let me be excited). If anyone else is waiting for their truck here in the northeast I'm hoping it departs soon and makes its way up to us soon.

 

Mine was stuck on the Maersk Alabama… long story short Tom Hanks almost died but I got my truck.

 

Mine was also stuck in Veracruz for over seven weeks. Finally arrived a week ago and was dropped off at the dealers last Friday. Hang in there brother! She'll arrive sooner or later.

My guess is that Tacomas destined for the Northeast and Mid-Atlantic come in on the GLOBAL LEADER. The ship usually runs about once a month directly from Veracruz to Port Newark. I was able to confirm with the sales rep that it was indeed the vessel that carried my Tacoma.

 

I was tracking that one also and was hoping it would be on there but I think that one is headed to the east. I heard from some other forums that the Frontier vessels also move Tacomas. Really hoping it's the one I'm tracking. The tracker says my truck was at the port 10/25...

 

Mine was built 6/9/23. Took until 9/25 to get to the port . Mine was stuck in varacruz Mexico for long time. I called Toyotas distribution center and they said there’s lot of delays currently . Truck was SO FILTHY when it came off the carrier truck to get delivered I guess from sitting so long by the ocean down in varacruz

 

Well that sucks to hear. Ya mines been sitting at that damn port for about a month now. Really wanted it sooner rather than later so I can coat the underbody before winter

 

Do you have a timeline for how long it was at the port exactly? And when it finally got to your dealer?

It's prob being held from the airbag recall.

 

Is there a new one?

 

It was just updated a few weeks ago and includes more 2023 tacomas.

 

Well it's at the port now, that recall was back in July. My truck was built in October

 

Maybe it fell off the truck then?

 

From "order" to delivery mine was a little over 4 months. From finished build to delivery to my dealer in MI it was about a month.

 

Good to know thanks, mine finished build on 10/12...so pasted that month threshold but hoping it boards the vessel soon.

 

Mine was built in June and I bought it in July.

Wow that moved quick, ya you went by rail, up here in the north east it departs from the Veracruz Port, Mexico on a vessel and ships to Newark, New Jersey. Then gets trucked to the dealers
