Anyone else waiting for their Tacoma to arrive?

Right right, it was built 10/12. Arrived in NJ 12/2....13 days now just sitting in the port I guess, still no word. I thought you meant just started the transit portion, as in finished build.

 

FWIW, I'm of the opinion that in Newark, NJ (aka, 'port') certain vehicles are destined to have pre-designated optional equipment installed prior to being transported to dealerships. These vehicles receiving optional installed equipment likely fall to the end of the 'transport' line and may be among the last of the current shipment to be arriving at dealerships. I know from my Toyota app my truck was to get mudflaps, floor mats & door sill guards in 'port'.

 

I downloaded the app, entered the vin. Still unable to get any tracking info from it.

 

Does anyone know which service in the app you use to track your vehicle?

 

It was mentioned earlier that tracking is not available with the app until customer takes possession of the vehicle. When I try to 'find' my truck it simply displays my home location on a map.

Funny thing is my truck has no added options, just the LED headlights which are factory installed. I ordered all the matts and protective stuff off Toyota with Black Friday deals to install myself.

 

That's nuts when mine hit the port last January it was at my dealer just outside of Boston just over 24 hours later.

 

Ya it seemed like most move fairly quickly...guess I'm the lucky one where it's stuck waiting for a shipment for 2 weeks.

when I was waiting for mine it seemed like forever and they kept delaying the arrival date. Ended up being 3 months from order to delivery. I swear that was the longest 3 months of my life.

 

Hoping for next week, end of December will be 3 months for me since order.

Nothing yet sadly..... the last date was 12/23 on the range. So gotta hope it's not delayed again and it's arriving between today and Saturday.

 

I wonder how many new 3rd gens are still available?

 

I know they're flying fast, a see a lot more SR5s available than anything. But off-road are seeming rarer by the day.

 

I have been waiting since September for my OR Access and nothing yet! Maybe next week!

 

Just reached out to the dealer again, pushed back once again....looks like the holiday season is delaying everything. Probably won't see it until well after the new year....

 

Feels like I'm going to have the last ever sold TRD off-road 2023 in America at this point hahaah. Got to really hope nothing is wrong with it.
