    2/2016 Tacoma's one bright white 2nd inferno
Going from driving my work truck to the inferno it's hard to manage my speed it seams I am always having to slow down. Got pulled over going home from lake havasu in Parker and got pull over doing 12 over speed limit and got off told the officer that I was only doing 5 over . I acted really considered about why know I was doing what he said I was doing. He said it was the larger tires (but my tires are still stock size) so I said really what should I do? He told me to take it and have the speedo recalibrated. And left me go. But the whole time I was waiting for my wife to say how could it be off its a stock brand new truck. One of the few times I am glad she did not say anything.

Wow, here in New England I am constantly passing cops at 20 over the limit and I don't even tap the brakes. I might actually speed up as to not draw attention!! There is a 55mph area on route 93 that if you do less than 75 you will be smashed to bits, run right the fuck over. State construction vehicles are doing 20 over the limit. I pass parked cruisers running radar at 85 in a 65 constantly. I actually wonder what kind of speeds you have to be going to get pulled over these days. Are there just so many people that are doing 40 and 50 mph over the limit that 20 over the limit isn't even worth their time and effort? Is this just happening in New England? Honestly, it seems to be getting worse and worse and me at 20 over the limit is easily the slowest class of driver on the roads. I drive 75 miles of highway each day commuting.

Yup, in MA there are stretches of 495 that if you go less than 75 you will be rear-ended. On most of the highways i do 10-15 over past speed traps. This past weekend I was going 70 in a 55 and there was a cop with a radar gun outside his car. No one tapped the brakes or anything.

If you were on 495 heading towards Maine last Friday I'm surprised you were going faster than 10 mph. Memorial Day weekend traffic is a bitch up there.

I got my first ticket ever in my Taco doing a whopping 47 in a 40 when I was pretty sure I was going 45, but the guys radar gun "doesn't lie". I just took it and applied for diversion. So dumb. If anything I thought the stock taco speedo read a tad low. Put my new tires on and it's almost accurate if not slightly high now. Though the digital meter and the analog don't even line up completely.

    Waze is your friend!

The DC /Nova area has tons of wazers so cops get flagged almost immediately.
