I was getting roughly 17.8. Lately my tank average is around 19 all city driving.
On the last 4 trips I have gotten about 23-25mpg according the display.
It has been.. weird to say the least especially for city driving.
I am by no means complaining! I haven't gotten gas in 2 weeks so a tank average of 19 is amazing!(for me)

Just a note--we have been out of winter gas for a while.

Mine has, but I assumed it was a combination of maybe the winter blend gas being phased out and warmer temperatures promoting greater engine efficiency.

We have been out of winter gas here for probably 2 months. I noticed an increase from 16 to 17.8 then.
It has been warm here(central valley ca) for a while :(

Yes, my gas mileage suddenly jumped with my current tank (filled up Sunday). I'm only halfway through the tank, but I'm currently sitting at 19.8 MPG. My all-time best tank with 15k on the truck now was 18.4 MPG. Generally in the winter I average 16.5 and in the summer I average 17.8, so I don't know what happened, but I like it.

Summer Fuel and Warmer Temps have helped my truck too.

Yes, the changeover to summer fuel helped prior to this. Might just be perfect weather conditions this week I guess.

Lol I went from like 15 to 23.4. I just chalked it up to summer gas. My truck has been all over the place recently.

So weird. I just experienced the same thing after the dealer addressed some TSB issues. I couldn't imagine that any of them would affect fuel economy but who knows.

I've had my truck for over 2 years, and I'm seeing numbers that I've never seen before. I've just chalked It up to Summer gas and temperature that's not quite hot enough to run the A/C but who knows. A/C compressor costs you roughly 1.5mpg in the sorta scientific testing I've done. Could be the Tacoma Fairy.

Higher temp, higher tire pressure, better gas mileage.

I get a nice curve through the year. Back up averaging 21-22 from my winter averages of 17-18.

Yes, my first 3 tanks from the same station averaged 19mpg. This current tank from a Mobil station has averaged 23mpg so far. All town and country driving.
