Brand New truck. 2023. My radio isnt straight in the dash. It goes up higher on one side and lower on the other. Not very noticable via the picture but in person it's extremely noticeable. Dealer said they are all like that lol yeah okay. It's much higher on the left side and slopes down towards the right.

Yes it is lol might be my trim piece is not correct

Edit- just watched a few videos apparently this is common and not a problem. I can see other trucks have this issue too. The way the trim piece sits it makes it look like the radio is not straight when the trim is actually angling down when going towards the driver side of the truck.

A 10mm socket with an extension will fix that - it just has 4 bolts holding it in.

Its actually the trim piece and not the radio. I guess they are all slanted like that,I looked up 3rd gen videos and on the passenger bottom side of the radio there is almost no gap, on the drivers side the gap is larger, in almost every video ive looked at.

What about tipping the radio to match?

Your service department reps must do the short straw pull when they see you coming.

Sorry I want what I paid for done correctly. I'm sure your truck looks like shit and I could point out 100 things wrong with it. Have fun with that super white chipping. I don't give a fuck what a dealer thinks of me. I paid you. Fix your shit.

Actually you're right, it does! And yours will too once you start driving it to places other than your dealership.

    Carry on!

There supposed to look like that. The silver trim tapers slightly outward to the left. Look at the top part of the silver trim compared to the black dash. you'll see it.

If you watch a video from 5star car audio on you tube where they install a stereo in a Tacoma . The installer tells you that you can add spacers to even it out on the side that’s tilted.

You are one picky fucking customer. You should go with another brand. Dodge is calling your name.

Your post proves you need something else. A Honda maybe.
