Mine is a 2013. I took the rear headrests off and stored them.

I flipped them once and never returned them, I put a cover over it because I haul 2 retrievers and they slide on the plastic...it's just me and my wife anyway

I cut up a mattress topper, and went to a local carpet store and had a remnant cut to size.
    My dog likes that setup.

Cut up a $20 Wall Mart rug, only used half, so still have one more left in it.

Is that a storage bin in the back of the passenger rear seat?

No, what you're seeing(what looks like a handle/knob) is the slot for the clasp where the seat locks into place.

    Yeah.
Wow. I have never folded them down like this, so never even looked for those storage holes. And I have a red maglite I need to put batteries in and stuff in that spot! I have a couple of smaller high-power LED flashlights I keep in the glovebox, and those you can hold in your mouth if you need 2 hands free.

To keep stuff from sliding, what about a roll of that rubbery mesh they sell for lining cabinet shelves? Seems like it would do the trick.

    Great! I'll look today, I have a 2007.

^^This, unless you're just saying, "Wow, there's space back there?" In which case yes, there's storage there!

Same here, been wanting to do maglight mod. But before you do, remember there is a much more accessible place to do so.

No, I knew the cubbies were back there. Got stuff in mine. I thought that was a storage compartment where the seat catch was in the actual seat.

OH. That back. I thought you meant the actual back of the cab-what's behind the seat.

What do you keep back there, if you don't mind me asking? I can't find much of anything that would fit in that small space, unless of course you had one of those MOLLE panels or whatever they're called.

I use the net that came with my truck to hold jumper cables behind the passenger side above the JBL sub. It holds a heavy duty set pretty well and with just about the right clearance to close the seat.

    I didn't get a net...

So there is room with a sub? I'd figured that would reduce storage if ever needed. Got any pictures?

This net was intended to be used as a pocket, its not a perfect solution but it serves the purpose and holds the cables in place well. There also enough room that I will put a bottle or two of water back there in the summer.

Nice, mine hold nothing so far.

Is that a stock sub? It doesn't look as flashy as aftermarket subs

That's awesome! Did you do a writeup on it? That's very useful

THAT is fancy. Is that Fiskars an axe? Hammer? I couldn't tell by looking at it, only Fiskars I own are for trimming.

Is there a write up on that? (I ask this question a lot)
