So I was driving in the fast lane and apparently I didn't move out of the way fast enough. There was a car in front of me. Anyways, middle fingers were exchanged and then the windows got rolled down. Long story short, some guy in a F250 felt that it would be really insulting to tell me that my truck wasn't American  (not really what he said but you get the idea). I'm pretty sure my '06 Tacoma employed more Americans than his Ford. I don't really want to turn this into foreign/domestic debate but anyone have any stories of the misinformed?

Long time lurker but never had anything to really contribute. I'll post some pics of the truck later.

Oh yes, hear it all the time. But when my truck can beat theirs in many different categories it really doesn't matter. the guy you had a run in with sounded like a major douche canoe anyway. Don't worry about people like that

tacomas, hiluxs, and pickups are actually terrorist favorites or at least used to be.there was something called the toyota war in north africa i believe. it was over the canadian shipment of hiluxs. could be a lil rusty on those facts but i tried writing a paper on it for ap world history last year.

Yeah my granda, uncle and cousins all drive F150's and gave me grief when I bought my taco. They drive 2wd F150's on their farm, except for my 25yr old cousin who has 4x4 f150. One day we all went out on my grandfathers farm after it rained. My grandpa was in his 2wd f150 and my cousin and uncle rode in my uncles 2wd f150, and me in my prerunner. They got both their trucks stuck in the same area my truck did fine in, and they were impressed. They couldnt believe their 2wd's go stuck and mine didnt. Now my grandpa's looking at 4x4 tundra's, lol.

seeing how we are talking about bad dudes in hiluxes I shot a hilux with a javalin last year in afghanistan, it then rolled off a 400 foot cliff. I got 13 confirmed out of it. Thats right, the only thing that will stop a yota is a anti tank missle. Made a hell of a video

Like they say...98% of all American made trucks are still on the road...the other 2% actually made it all the way home.
