Looking for some input on Goose Gears seat delete kit for my access cab. I don't feel like I have seen them much on here before.
My biggest problem with them is they are kinda pricey for what they are. If anyone has used them I would love your opinion on them, or if anyone has different options I would love to hear that too.

I was interested until I saw the price. Did I read correctly that it's $400 per side?

    none yet
more than what I think it's worth
the drawers look nice but way over priced for wood, I'd want something more moisture proof

I was thinking of doing something similar originally. But, haven't yet/plans changed.

It's basically plywood and 8020 extrusions, painted. If you have any semblence of experience with DIY/a modicum of patience, you can do it for about $50 in materials if you already have the tools. If you don't have the tools, and only want to do one side/panel, it might not be worth it to set up for yourself. But if you can do it, yeah let 'er rip.

Definitely a boutique item, but by the time you factor in design and labor time, tooling, hardware, and materials to build an identical product, $400 is kind of a bargain.

Don't get me wrong, as far as the cost, I don't think it's inflated and they make $350 profit from it, I know they're low runner/most of it is labor to make them, I think knowing the product and process, the price is fair. But, I can get 8020 and plywood myself for a lot cheaper. It's a matter of valuing time or money more.

I’ve got one in my double cab.

is it expensive? Yes. Is it worth it? Also yes.

I was on the edge spending the money vs building something myself. I eventually placed an order and I’m happy I did. Fit and finish is excellent. All the bolts and hardware you need. Mounts very solid. No issues with fit or finish. Finish shows no signs of wear since I installed mine a year ago

lots of places to add tie downs or mount things.

i wouldn’t hesitate to do it again.

Thanks for the input! Does the price come with the lids?

I agree completely. In most cases, my vision outpaces my talent, which is why I generally like to keep things simple. As much as I really like this platform, I made something simple using the pallet that my skid plates were shipped on. I can swap the platform out for the rear seat in less than 10 minutes.

Man I'd love that extra space in the back for our dogs. I wish this mod was quickly reversed when you want to have seats again.

How is road noise without the additional padding of the seats keeping it down?
