Anyone experienced with adding soft Kevlar to the cab?

In what scenario/locale are you wearing a ballistic vest? I can’t imagine choosing to go somewhere the threat level was so high I felt the need.

Cheap stuff then and probably not true lexan but a cheaper cousin. However, none of the stuff I shot held up well for multiple shots, it always cracked and split to the edge which was not in a frame.

 

It's amazing how stirred up people get by someone talking about actual features in legitimate armored personal vehicles..it not my fault that so many people are so out of touch with the protection service industry..each feature with the exception of security film has been done for decades..features such as electric door handles, smoke screens, flame throwers, bio chem filters, nail droppers , oil sprayers, on broad Ox tanks, air bag deletes are common options.. and once again there's zero expectations to stop long gun rds, rpgs etc..but a pistol rd sure.. I guess most of the naysayers skipped those details as well as the 3rd gen Tacoma is a hobby and test vehicle while the Tundra is sorted out or the 4th gen Tacoma is here.. it really poses a challenge to speak with people with such a low comprehension level.. similar trolls freaked out when I inquired about adding a trailer hitch to a 2.7L model to tow a lightweight trailer..lol I guess this is the SOP around here..take everything way, way out of text and troll out for days.. Lol..the oil sprayers are worthless but the smoke screen is very useful..tailgaters pull way back when they can't see anything in front of them.. also a single circle or donut in a parking lot during daytime with the smoke screen makes your vehicle completely disappear from site for several minutes..its a easy mod for any vehicle..Cheers..

Nobody said a smoke screen was legal..nor would I recommend anyone from using one in an abusive manner..as it would cause serious problems on a crowded highway if used for extended use..Just because someone could do something doesn't mean they should do something..perhaps your parents can explain that when they tuck you in tonight little buddy..
