Anyone experiencing clunking?

Hello all. I just picked up a 2.7 4x4 Access cab. The thing has 700 miles on the clock. Ever since about 300 miles I noticed this clunk. When lurching forward, or reverse for that matter, then engaging the clutch there is a metal to metal clunk. I also hear it when in 4th or 5th doing about 50-60, letting off the gas and then getting back on it tho its not as pronounced. The sound seems to come either from the transfer case or the transmission.

I went to the dealership this morning to have it checked out. The mechanic told me that it was normal for this truck. Can anyone out there confirm that this is in-fact "normal" for this truck?

Slip yoke maybe needs grease?

 

i just posted a thread but i get it when im going like 2 mph in reverse or forward with the wheel turned alittle bit

 

i would take it back to the dealership

 

Try greasing the drive shaft. See if that helps.
