Well that's interesting. Is that painted or does it have some sort of liner on it?

Yeah, its like a rhino coat or something similar, it doesnt have a side skirt which may have been a good thing to get not sure yet as I have only had it a week. I would have had to order a different version, as this is the only one that came with that, i wanted to break up the plain old white.

Hey Tacodane, I was trying to look at your build thread and it says there is an error from TW. Did you delete or something?

Also, I was going to ask you about your lift, if I remember right you said you had the OME lift, and I was curious how that rides, especially on long drives on the highway? I am thinking of heading up to ToyTec and picking up a lift when i get back from this overseas trip and its one of the options I was looking at.

Also, did you install it yourself?

Last question, how much are your hood lights? And maybe the under cab?

I know tacodane sold his taco for a 4Runner, so maybe he's not active on here anymore?

As far as the OME lift goes, I can chime in..

I have the 886 coils and Dakar packs in the rear, and the ride is great IMO. It feels much more "like a truck" but its not harsh.

Be sure to buy the appropriate springs and leaves for your application. I have probably an extra 600 pounds of crap bolted on my rig, so i went with the heaviest components..

Hey guys. Yea I deleted the thread unfortunately. But I can answer any questions you have. I like the way the OME kit handled. Little stiff in the rear but with a little weight your good. Since you have the shell, your fine. My hood kits are $60 and the under can lights depend on what lengths you'd like. If two kits are a bought I take $10 off.

Also I did install it myself and I have no problem giving you a hand if you go that route.

I'm still active on here. Lol Somehow I missed the notification for this thread. I'd say 885 coils would be good for his truck. Hope overseas is treating you good!

Oh and yes I did end up getting a '16 4runner Trail Edition. Deff got 4wd this time around and I'm very happy with the decision. Got big plans for it of course.

Good to see you're still around!

The 4Runner looks great man, what do you have in the works for it?

Overseas is awesome so far. I'm headed to Eleison next, I'm STOKED for that!

That's great! Well currently wanting to do the arb diff breather kit, weather tech floor mats and maybe snatch up a solar panel for the future setup. But really want some armor front, rear, sliders. Roof rack, rtt, ugh SPOD, ARB fridge/freezer, King or OME bp-51 suspension. Lol jeez the list can go on for days

What was funny is Krista said I would never get my 4runner to where hers is at. I got shutdown. Lol

That's gonna be quite a rig man! The fridge freezer is so handy man, you'll love it.

Haha you'll catch up to her with all those mods!

In duw time of course. Lol actually going to jump on the hidden winch mount by pelfreybilt. Then I'll save for a SPOD and arb fridge. She's got a hell of a rig herself tho

Alright, all of this is good information to know, thanks!

And when did you get the 4Runner, I thought I saw your truck before I deployed? Also, when I get back I will send you a message about the hood lights.

And I think I will be going with the 886's as I will be getting a bumper and winch. I was thinking of getting the same ones as my old Taco had.

Arb bumper is a good option. I traded the Tacoma and got the 4runner in mid February.

Thanks, and yes I am going to do it myself and definitely wouldn't mind the help! I probably won't have time to do it until the week/weekend after 4th of July, if you're available?

I also am going to order the new bumper and hopefully I will be able to install it then as well.

Alright, dang. This will be my first suspension I have put so maybe I will wait if you have done one before so at least some one helping me has some experience. I have a couple other friends that want to help as well, but they haven't worked on suspensions before either.
