Anyone from Menifee-Temecula

Cool ill stick with Friday then. We can just take the trail out an hour or so and head back. Im flexible with time. Depends on how fast we get going. I don't like the street so I just turn around mid trail. Unfortunately there are no loops to do. I do air out my tires for the run to cut out the dash chatter. I think heading toward idyllwild is smoother. This road does hit the 243 if you don't want to off road down the hill

 

How much air do you let out?

 

Depends on the truck. Think the stock rugged fails do well at 25psi

 

Word, so are we doing this tomorrow night? 830 at the shell station off Newport and 215. It's probably little muddy from the rain today, maybe will rain some tomorrow too.

 

A little rain is good. Keeps the dust down. If we get hit with some crazy monsoon or lightning then it would be a great idea to do a different day. Lets see what the weather is like this afternoon

That was freakin awesome lastnight. Was anyone's alignment off afterwards? Letting air out of the tires helped a lot. I think my alignment is still good.

 

Def a great run! Great meeting some new people and seeing familiar faces.
-Net I don't think anyones alignment will be off. That trail was super easy. Takes a little more to knock it off track.

8 trucks last night. That was one heck of a turn out for a local trail. I like night runs during the summer. That trail should be alignment friendly. There isn't anything big at least along the path we did.

 

Glad I was able to make it. That was definitely a fun run with a lot of new faces. We'll need to plan another trip like that soon. Maybe take some of those other forks that we've never tried.

No alignment issues here. I always take it in a few days after just to get her squared up again but my steering wheel is dead nuts right on the money.

If you're interested there's another trail in that vicinity that we didn't do last night. It's on the other side of the highway and it's really smooth and fun to slide around on.
Rouse Ridge.
It's right behind the ranger station we passed last night on the south side of the highway.
It takes you right up to Lake Hemet.
Just an idea.
