Used to get fail mpg on the freeway until I noticed how much of a difference 60-65 makes compared to 70-75. I got 16-17 at 70-75 and now I get 20-22 at 60-65.

    I have a 2013 DBLCB 4.0L V6 and through 18 fill ups I am averaging 17.1 MPG. I don't "baby it", but definitely don't have a heavy foot either.

its not the same though :/ i drove a manual for years and when i had my 04 taco that was a 5 speed V6. shifting gears in a manual is more fun than manually shifting an auto lol

I shift gears at 2500 rpm and when I hit 40 mph I always have it in 6th gear, at 40 mph in 6 gear rpm's are at 1500 roughly.

BS. You can't add weight to the truck and not see an impact.

    Scangauge doesn't lie man.
MK6's I believe are lighter than the factory wheels
The Grabbers are a little heavier than the stockers
Have a cap too, so theres 130#.

Im telling you, my MPG's are no worse.

I've got a 3 inch lift, 31" tires, shell. I get 22-24 on the freeway, 18ish in town. A scanguage will help you learn to drive the taco with a light foot and that is the key.
