Anyone get a 2021 Tacoma below MSRP?

I’m trying to purchase a Tacoma 2021 Vodoo blue TRD OR DCLB but no dealer has them and when they do they want to add dealer markups some as high as 10k over Msrp now I see that in previous years people were able to get them a couple grand below MSRP
Anyone on here that got a 21 below MSRP ?

 

not this year... just wait til the end of the year when price levels out... but if you want now, then pay the $$$ for it...

 

I bought my 2021 DCSB TRD OR 6mt saturday.
roughly 9% off msrp
MSRP $36,725
I paid $33,500 plus $489 dealer fee that would have been applied at any sale price.
We have a $500 cap on vehicle sales tax. I was out the door for $34,500 all inclusive

What state if you don’t mind me asking and you got the manual transmission nice . I’m in CA and they are super hard to come by

 

I ordered mine in mid-December, took delivery at the end of Feb. Straight MSRP.
$41k OTD.

 

I've never heard of this. What state?
I think I paid close to $3k in sales tax.

 

I’d like to know that too lol based on his info on Toyota website I get quoted 35,700 MSRP here in CA

Do you have a Costco membership. If so use that as the prices are set and basically fleet rates.

if not wait for this craziness to stop and keep saving money towards the new truck you want.

 

I do thank you I didn’t know about that I just signed up and matched me with a dealer I’ll call tomorrow in the AM to see what they say to me

 

Hopefully you have better luck than I did with the deals. I'm in Los Angeles County and I couldn't find a dealer that would honor the Costco deals or AAA deals. I ended up paying MSRP about a month ago.

 

I’ve done it twice and have been very pleased. My price was $250 below INVOICE. About 9.5% below MSRP. That was with the deal made 9/21 and delivery take. On 12/11. Make sure you talk to the Costco contact person—there are a ton of hungry salesmen that may attempt to divert you.

Just so I make sure I got it correctly your deliver is December 2021 or was 2020? Regardless that’s a great deal

 

It is a 2021 TRDOR DCSB 6MT and I put down my deposit on an allocation to the dealer on 9/21/20 and took delivery on 12/11/20. The dealer tweaked the color and added the OEM Tonneau before it was built and made the rest of my changes at port. I got exactly what I wanted.

 

I see I wonder if they’ll do this during this “chip shortage”

 

I got the trd off road short bed in magnetic gray with auto trans. Down here everyone wanted 5k-10k dealer markup. I had to call every dealer between Santa Barbara to San Diego until I found a dealer that wanted to play ball. I had a sales man laugh at me when I told him I wasn't going to pay markup.

 

Thats crazy compared to me a little over a year ago. Dealers were panicing right when the pandemic started and I got a 2020 TRD off road for 4 grand under sticker. Wow things have changed.

 

Yeah they have I saw one today perfect vodoo blue TRD OR 4x4 DCLBwith the AT package for 38k msrp $45k after the additional equipment plus $4k markup from dealer bringing the total ask to $49k for an OR
