Anyone get a 2021 Tacoma below MSRP?

I paid right at MSRP. Shoot, there were salesmen trying to sell the truck as it was rolling off the trailer. I guess luckily I had allocated it back in January. I even heard a salesman calling a customer as I was walking out the door with the keys, telling someone that it wasn't for sale.

However we have personal property tax we (have to) pay annually.

 

Ordered a TRD OR 4x4 DC about 4 weeks ago, didn't get much off MSRP, only $387.
Was the 5th Toyota I bought from them, that's how I got anything off.
Normally get ~$3500 off my purchases.

 

Slightly. The agreed-upon price was MSRP, but I ended up getting the LED headlights ($485) for free, and there was a $1,000 Toyota rebate in effect. This was back in December, and things now are very different, with a limited supply. You may very well have to pay a hefty premium over MSRP now.

 

Yes, I got a 2021 TRD Pro for $500 below MSRP back in November.

 

paid under for 21 aclb or about 3 mo ago. it depended on the dealer - at one dealer that did lots of truck sales, they wouldn't discuss any discount and said i would be lucky to get a truck. a couple hours north where their volume was rav4s they had several for 2-3k off msrp - though iirc this was at the time when the chip shortage was in its nascent stage in mainstream business media coverage.

 

The GM at my local Toyota dealer knocked a little over 11% off my loaded 2021 OR. But that was 12/1/2020 and the market is different now. I seriously doubt he would do that right now.

We got ours the end of January of this year. I know things have gotten worse but we have used the Costco program on both of our Tacoma’s. The first time we just took the price they gave us which was basically fleet.

this time I had two dealers working for my business and ended up getting it at 14% below sticker, no dealer markups at that time. It’s a bit different market right now it seems.

Fantastic deal can you give more info on the trim and price agreed? I’m new to the whole car buying experience I know some say work with invoice price and ask them to lower that more wondering how you were able to get a whopping 14 percent off

I was a able to get $1,000 off MSRP on a TRD Sport during the last week of April at Longo Toyota. Another TW member was able to get the same 1k off a week ago on a TRD OR 4x4. If you are in So Cal, I think Longo Toyota might be a good choice. They were the only dealer willing to discount out of 20+ dealers I contacted before purchasing. The other dealers were all MSRP or markup. I only saw one or two Voodoo Blue in stock there during my search, maybe ask a salesperson if they have any incoming, in the near future.

 

I paid 36,734 OTD for a 2021 TRD OR 4x4 DCSB AT in mid May. Had to wait about 50 days for truck to be built and sent to dealer.

 

We purchased our 2021 Tacoma TRD Off-Road here in CA for approximately $1,700 off MSRP back at the end of February.

What options did you have on it ?

 

6% below MSRP but was an order - picked up last Friday, 14 weeks total.
