Love my shell but if I had to do it all over again I would have gotten windoors on the side. Not sure I will ever switch out my sliders, but just wondering if anyone has ever actually added these after the fact?

Not yet... I keep looking at buying a pair, but they're so damn pricy.

Every now and then I see a listing on CL for a topper that's the same model as mine, but with windoors.

I bought my shell used and it has a windoor installed on the drivers side and a slider on the passenger side, it's made by century. I talked to the local dealer and he told me a windoor was around $249 plus installation. One day I will get it, but at least I have the drivers side one already which I figure would be used the most.

Count me as another who wishes he'd gotten them from the start, that and the drop down front window. Actually I'd have gotten an MX series instead of the cab-high CX as well. I looked into buying them to install myself but I couldn't find them and the ARE dealers want a small fortune for them. ARE makes them that also have a sliding window with a screen.

Just bought a Leer 100R off of craig's list that had windoors on it. The same model as mine. Swapping the windows out was a piece of cake. Ended up selling it for the same amount. If you search the web you should be able to find them online. The cheapest I found was around $229. You can probably sell your sliders to compensate for the cost.

Where did you find them? The cheapest I've seen them was well over $300.

Yes. Best $30 CL find yet. The shipping was more than the window...total $64 to my house.

That's cheaper than the one or two places I've seen them. I'd consider replacing at least one of mine at that price.
