Got engaged and gave my GMC Terrain to my girl so I could get myself a real truck. I don't do anything with it "rugged" but love it and feel it's something I will keep a long time and can really personalize. I also love dropping the tailgate and sitting on it to drink beers with my girl !

    I've had various Toyota trucks, all 4x4, 3 pick ups, '82, '84, '87, 3 4Runners, '85 SR5 5spd, '90 SR5 5spd, currently '97 SR5 5spd, '07 Camry SE, and most recently '11 Camry SE.

Always enjoyed the trucks over the cars.

Sold the '11 Camry yesterday, we've had it for 4 years, put 24k on it. 4k in the last year. it sat, wife would rather drive the '97 Runner 5spd.

I've wanted a 4dr Toyota truck forever ( long before the DC's became a thing in the states ) finally managed to get one dirt cheap.

'08 DCSB PreRunner. No payments, I don't have to fret parking lot idiots any more, and can haul the camper and a load of camping crap without taking 2 vehicles, and still have the kid and the dog with us.

I've missed not having a truck.

I missed not having a Tacoma after selling my 09. Had a few normal cars, Venza (ugh) Infiniti, couple Vettes and now a Miata. I have to have a small sporty car and a truck.

Was to OCD with the Vettes, Miata much better, Tacoma has the garage MX5 patrols the driveway, I like the extremes of both. In fact I am likely selling my bike as I drive the MX5 more than I ride. It is a kick to drive a slow car fast rather than a fast car slow which is another reason for giving up on the Corvette. I can park the Miata anywhere and it won't get bothered because people probably think it belongs to some hot babe, Wifey prefers her CRV but uses the Miata for errands.

The only cars i missed were my Toyotas.... Sold my 87 Supra turbo, bought an 06 TRD Sport, smashed that, bought a 93 JDM NA Supra, traded that towards an 07 Tundra, traded that for my 13 Taco. Taco = year round fun/usefulness, Supra = the feeling of a new car every spring..... Having said that, bought the 13 Taco, baby was in the way shortly there after.... Coincidence?

Those things were stupidly fast for what they were. When they came out, they were faster than an Enzo from 0-30. 1.3 seconds.

when from a Focus ST to the 2011 4x4 DCLB. I have loved and pined after the Tacoma for years... finally got the right deal and I have not looked back. That ST with snows was a tank in the winter.... lets see what I think in mid January.

    Not one bit.

Went from a Honda Accord to my Taco. I only miss the mpg's. 34 to 20 is quite a difference but fortunately gas is still relatively cheap.

    Just me
One year ago I sold my 93 Audi S4 and bought my '12 DCLB. My 60+ year old knee doesn't miss the clutch at all but I wish I had tried out a Access Cab before buying. This thing is like parking the Queen Mary in parking lots (in comparison anyway).

Truck paddles through the snow a lot better to my remote work locations better than the Audi and hauls the tools better.

Traded in my 2013 Ford SHO for my 2014 Tacoma because I needed a truck. I only miss the car when I pull up next to a fast car at a light (the SHO ran 12s when I sold it).

I had a 2014 Honda Accord Coupe EX.

I miss how awesome that was on gas and all the tech it had.

Now I have a 2015 Taco DC. It's nice, I like the height and towing capabilities and all the room. Missing the technology though.
