I am heading out right now. Going to go pick up a Turbocharged engine and then head out and find someplace to setup camp. I will let you know how bad the Zombie infestation is today.

Just because you “can do it “, doesn’t mean you “should do it “.

I agree, but there are soooooo many good deals out there right now. Can't pass up this deal, hopefully I don't get COVID-19 and die.

I've been going out with just another buddy with masks on hand and did Johnson Valley to Big Bear two weekend ago, and Cleghorn, Lytle Creek areas a few weeks prior. Most driving trails/BLM are open but obviously campgrounds, public hiking trails and similar areas are closed.

Related topic, but slightly in a diff direction: does anyone know how to navigate the BLM website/data to determine where are the approved places to shoot firearms outdoors? I've been on their site a few times, but can't seem to find the right data, maps, or guidance to ensure I stay safe and lawful.

Hit Hodge Road yesterday morning. Usually get there at around 5:30am, then leave at around 9:30am to beat the crowd. Good times.

I just did the Otay Mountain Truck Trail. There were a lot of people out there but sadly they were looking for a dirt biker that went missing yesterday. If you're going to go leave a detailed plan and go with friends.

We went out to cleghorn. we all stood clear of each other. didn’t “hang out” before and after like we normally do after runs. go up, say hi, air down, have fun, air up, and say bye.

I think “most” of us with common sense wear gloves when filling up (or other stuff) to avoid getting/transferring the virus. Same as going to local store to get food/essentials.
Granted; trails are not essentials, but to some, not all, but some need to get out and clear the head.
If you do it, just be safe and protect yourselves/others.
    We’re gonna get through this.

    Be safe y’all.
