Anyone good with Conic Sections?

    I basically have a homework assignment that says,

    The project must include 2 each of parabolas, circles, ellipses, and lines (with defined nonzero slope). There must be atleast one hyperbola and one non-conic. The non-conic could be absolute value, the sqaure root function or a higher degree function.

    On the back, I must have the function and the part of the picture it pertains to, the equation, and the domain or range. I have a a whole sheet of graph paper to use....so ya kinda get the idea of how big it can be

    I'm not good with Conics, SOOO......I came to you guys :confused: :eek:
