    No worries. I don’t know if it helps anything, but it looks better, covers the uni-filter and is a lot quieter at startup.

    Just want it for the peace of mind honestly. I didn't realize it also makes it a little quieter too which is a bonus.

    Yep. There is some foam on the underneath side of the cover that acts like a sound-deadening material. Definitely made a difference in the high pitched whine at start up.

    I left my letter at work, but I would guess it would cover 12-15. All have the issue.

    Well I got my letter in the mail. Didn't do me much good as I replaced min back in 2016.
    Like I posted back in 2016 in regard to my issue it cost me $937.00 to have the air injection switching valve replaced.
    But there is going to be no reimbursement from Toyota for me.
    Can't complain though, only thing I have done to it since I bought it back in 2012.

    Oh wait, yes I can complain. They are taking away my Pandora......

    I got this too for my 2012 a week or two prior I removed the foam filter and installed the uni filter and plastic cover.
