Anyone had issues with the airbag light?

    My 02 prerunner 2.7 light went off today it blinks a few times stops and it doesn't it again. How did you fix it?

    The only time I've ever had the airbag light is when I was messing with the seatbelt retainers. So, two things you can look at:

    - unplugging the passenger airbag sensor under the passenger seat (two-wire plug, should be white connector with black plastic shield). This will deactivate it all together (default off)

    -take your rear side panels off to get access to the seatbelt retainers. Ensure that the little yellow connectors on the side of each (driver and passenger) are secure and haven't wiggled loose somehow. I'd be surprised though since I'm pretty sure there's a metal latch over those...unless that car's been in a bad accident before

    I had issues with mine when I hit a nasty pothole. Wound up having to hit the dealership and having to have the sensor recalibrated.

    scion xb seat swap/ 3rd gen 4 runner swap in progress
    I have problems with my 04 prerunner. Got code B0101 ordered new clockspring. Haven't taken it apart yet
