y driver seat is getting squeaky. Sounds like the springs that support the foam on the seat bottom. Has anyone had it covered by the bumper to bumper warranty?

It was odd that question was asked on a Toyota survey about my Tacoma, do the seats squeak. My seat doesn't squeak after 69K miles but when I move the seat belt lower arm piece, that squeaks some. I was asked about the inside material too and whether it scratched easily or not. Seems the were just getting verification on known problems to me.

I only have 20,000 miles. Its definatley in the seat bottom cushion area. If I wiggle my bum on the seat is really squeaks

mine is definitely not the seat track, its the actual seat cushion in the back rest. when i lean back it squeaks, i have the seats with a dial on the bottom left to pump up the back rest or make it softer... would my warranty cover this?

The TSB says that this applies to 2004-2010 vehicles. I have a 2012 where the shotgun seat squeaks like crazy. I cannot tell exactly where the squeak is coming from, but if I reach over and put pressure on the seat (either pushing it away or pulling it towards me) the squeak stops.

Does anyone know if my 2012 have these same locator pins? Thanks.

    Paul

My 2012 Trd sport does the same, not fixed yet. I often have to adjust the knob to make the squeaks go away.

I had the dealer fix it, I have the katskin leather and they said it was a spring rubbing.
