I daily my truck & drive sensible, I pull a loaded 12ft landscaping trailer with it weekly during spring/summer hauling zero turn mowers, my skidloader (2400lbs), firewood etc. I replaced the front pads at 48K & put oem ceramic pads on, havent touched them since, I check them every time I rotate tires (5K) and they're just now a little less than half life. It's all about maintenance & driving style.

Most dealers charge 1.5 so roughly 210$ depending where you are, plus about 100$ per drum and 140$ for shoe kit (just guessing)

I rarely change taco drums, usually due to axle seals puking all over them.
