Anyone have a Barricade HD Stubby front bumper installed?

If anyone has this specific bumper installed, just wondering if installation involves cutting any of the existing bumper up at all? Or do you just take the lower grille out and bolt this into place with the brackets? Also, how heavy would you guess this bumper to be? Does it seem to be put together well and could withstand a decent impact to it? I wanted to get something that doesn't stand out too much but is built well, I have a lot of deer around my area, and if this could save my bumper/grille from getting destroyed in a collision I'll probably throw one on. Don't really want to spend over $500 bucks on one of the bigger ones and I haven't found any that I particularly like either. Thanks
