Damn, this Friday-on-a-Tuesday thread actually taught me something! Guess Ive been doing em wrong on my truck for the past ~5 years

Wonder what the reasoning is behind that special pattern for the TRD beadlocks..?

The real question is does the diagram also apply to 2WD trucks?
The OP's original question specified 4x4..

It applies to 6 lug trucks.
Did they even make a 5 lug 3rd Gen?

To be fair; The OP doesn’t have his owner’s manual yet, because he doesn't have his truck yet. It is in the port, waiting for shop to install the LED bed light.

I wait until you come across on with left hand and right hand lugs.
Left on the left, right on the right. Talk about being throw for a loop.

No, I actually haven’t experienced this myself. I’m too young.
But find someone over 70 years old and asked them.
If they owned a Chrysler or dodge they likely ran into that problem.

Now, we can argue if studs or bolt are better?
I like studs, it’s easier to hang the wheel on them.

Applies to everything. Tighten 1 then tighten directly across from it then directly across from that one and so on. It's not rocket science, just equalizing pressure all the way around it.
