Found a chunk of rat poison in there,I heard it blow a hole in my cabin air filter just 5 minutes ago that's less than 2 weeks old, I'm hoping I can check out the underside and figure out how he got in and where I need to dig for a carcass

It probably got in from the fresh air intake.
I’m confused as to how it blew a hole through the cabin filter?
The mouse/rat probably chewed through it.

The next step after that is directly into the blower motor cage/fins.

I’d drop blower motor and take a look.
It’s under the passenger dash. Easy to get to and take out.

100% remove the blower motor first
