Anyone have any idea how much it would cost to ship a Tacoma from Seattle to Hawaii??

I know Tacomas are popular in HI, so I wonder if anny TW'ers have had any experience with this.

 

Hey man i am guestimating about 800-1000 in a container which would probably be best bet to keep it from all the sea salt for that whole week that it will be in the pacific ocean, i could be wrong though. You are moving to HAwaii i assume, what rock are you going too?

 

i would think more than 1000
to ship a dam bumper to HI its like 200 bucks +

to ship inter island was $300 one way, so I can only imagine what it would cost mainland to hawaii would be

They will also throw about a 30% fuel surcharge on there. Might check with a company called Horizon Lines as well.

 

Those prices seem pretty current, also depends on the specs on the truck compared to the ones listed, but the price should still be around ball park

 

I'm considering it. Just feeling out how much moving costs would add up to, as those costs would factor heavily into my decision to move out there or not. Would be the big rock. Would hate to have to sell my truck and buy another one out there.

 

Hey well i live on the big rock and think it is a awesome plan for you to move out here, just some heads up, job unemployment is HIGH as the jobs out here are scarce but the cost of living on the bigisland is pretty cheap compared to the rest of the Hawaiian islands(cheapest as far as land value), so unless you have a job lined up be careful. just keepin it real and looking out for you bud!
