Anyone have experience using Salt Away or something similar?

Where I live they use a lot of salt and the new salt alternatives on the roads. I am thinking of using Salt Away or something similar. Anyone have any experience with this stuff? Spray it on and leave it or do you rinse it off? Apply it with a garden hose or pump sprayer? Use it in the engine bay? Any negatives in using it?

 

Excellent stuff. You can't just was a truck off and expect all salt to be gone. This neutralizes it. I use it with a garden sprayer. Body and all underneath. Have not used it in engine compartment.
I put it on , let sit for a few then rinse off.
Lot of marine craft use it on boats and engine internal flush.

My local car wash has it this time of year (replaced by bug remover in the warmer months). I always use it after a storm. The amount of salt that New York uses is insane.

 

I just ordered some of the concentrate salt away.
