I haven’t been hunting in years.
A buddy of mine is looking for a hunting rifle.
I have a Ruger M77 Hawkeye in Stainless All-Weather and he has a Sig P938 Blackwood Edition. New never fired w/Sig Nite-Sites.

Anyways, I’m not sure if I should trade him or not.
I really don’t need either one, I sure don’t want to trade for something that I know nothing about.

Any of you guys on here into Sigs?

I’m a Glock, Smith and Ruger guy. I know nothing about Sigs.
(Other than selling them when I worked in a gun shop for a brief period.)

They are pretty cool but shoot like a small gun.

I passed on it. I don’t need any more micro pistols.

    Thanks for the input.

I don’t like mine. Good pocket pistol I guess. For the money…better options.

I have a 238. Great little gun, but there are better CCW options in a more lethal caliber with more capacity.

I had a P938 TALO edition but sold it because it never got used. Like others have said, it's a perfectly decent little piece, but there are many better options on the market for pocket carry. If you get a P938, it's because you have extra money to spend and just like the gun for what it is.

Dad bought one. Light primer strikes. Went to Sig. Came back, still light strikes. Modern SIG quality is hit and miss.

Yes the one I was looking at had the newer updated mainspring.

Big hole and you can see the coil spring behind it.222CF090-6FF7-40DD-9461-7E54E58772AA.jpg

I have had one for years and have had zero issues with it. It's easy to shoot. Easy to load and charge. The night sights work great. It's pretty resistant to rust and easy to conceal. I got it for days I didn't want to carry my larger pistols or really hot days when I am wearing light clothing.

    P238 rocks.
Yesterday at the range. 25’ cranking them. 17094C42-07BE-4513-B30E-207727D63E2B.jpg

No “failures”, accept the occasional failure to lock back after last round.
    Sweet little shooter.
