The advanced fuel economy is fine, it's actually a closer match to the Toyota oil. Both are a 0W-20, just on the lower end of the the allowable viscosity range for improved fuel economy.

Fun fact: Prolong settled with the FTC for making "unsubstantiated claims" not unlike those made in OP's video.

But not to worry, I'm sure OP will be back first thing Monday to substantiate the claims with oil analysis and cold hard test data. Really looking forward to the detailed explanation of why ILSAC is a complete joke - I expect OP will enlighten us on the tribology of addressing LSPI.

lol, i'd like to say i'm shocked. but i'm too busy laughing at the ridiculous marketing they attempted to pull off.

my favorite needlessly wordy products with no actual documentation is monster audio. their marketing department HAS to get paid by the letter!

Back in the day when i was a young teen we had mini bikes with briggs engines stuffed in them with the governors removed. They'd wind up till a rod would come through the engine block. We'd go back down to the junkyards in town, and find another engine to blowup. Btw, those engines had plenty of oil.

We're all stocked up on crazy. Soon as I read the part where "you should do a flush '' proved it to me.
Ill stick with Kirkland for the win. Zero issues, doesnt burn a drop, smells like baby dinosaurs. Its $34.99 for two five quart jugs. Etc Etc.

When people roll the eyes about a flush here is some “well known brand oil” where customer had changed his “synthetic “ oil every 5k miles for the past 7 years On his FJ , granted it still runs and runs like a champ and has for a couple of years now since we took this Photos.

First apologies on how many are taking this and seemingly thinking that the video and post were calculated and thought out . We made the video as a introduction to the brand in the Truck and Suv market . And also to say LiquiMoly isn’t just a Euro oil.
2 months later after we posted and about 6months after we did the video I’m sitting at my desk and was like hey let me post this on the TW forum . Thinking it would be like most other posts we do and get just looks .
Im trying to be more active on here as we haven’t been for the 6+years. We been around in business and building some cool Tacomas .

So we do plan on having some segments about the technical side of the oil and it’s advantages. That will come . But all this take time .
We will hopefully address many of the comments and concerns that you all have posted .

Again there is a a$$ for every seat, this stuff isn’t for everyone. Just like some are ok with level kits vs kings, fox , icon and others .

Also it’s not that easy to just talk about product on camera. It’s awkward. I can talk on the phone and in person all day long about product. I have for years . But please note I don’t script what I say . I just come out and talk. And sometimes it’s as my kids say cringe . Especially that last we need all the hp we can get quote. In the end the more we do these the better it will get. Our goal is to provide information on a platform we haven’t really acknowledged. And do it in many ways .

Not perfect by far . So hopefully we can get you all more information and do more videos as for years we have been in the Toyota industry.

Appreciate all the feedback and criticism.

Reminds me of the Black Death Sprinter injector issue. Never seen any sludge like that from an oil change?

I think this is interesting. I hope I don’t come off as sarcastic or rude it’s not my intention just my honest opinion. After I saw this thread I looked up liquiloly and couldn’t find a lot of testing information right away but am going to read up on it a little more just out of curiosity. One thing that did pop up was a YouTube video from a channel called project farm. Some are familiar with it I’m guessing. His testing is not exactly what I would call scientific but does in my opinion a good job of simulating some real world use. I was surprised that it didn’t seem to preform any better then anything else so I would be interested in whatever further actual data you post about it. As of now I really don’t see any benefits to using it over whatever your preferred brand might be. I also think there is something else going on with the oil in the pictures. I have been in auto service for a while now and have never seen anything close to that in a vehicle that’s had full synthetic oil changes every 5k since new.

    Boutique oil is a waste.

That sludge issue posted is NOT from 5k Synthethic oil changes. I call BS on that.
