Anyone have Go Rhino RB30 slim running boards on a 2024?

I guess i just have to wait it out.

 

Hopefully it’s not that long. Like I said I never even got a shipping notice. They just showed up on a Sunday too boot.

 

Wow thats just crazy. They took my money then nothing for days so i chatted with them then waited 2 days for an email status update that would be shipped by June 28th. They really dont get it.

 

I thought it was odd my expected delivery date was January 2025 (but online tracking was correct with delivery next week) then I looked at my shipping address and they left out the first street number. Quick chat with customer support took care of that minor issue, but then we both realized they shipped the wrong running board: RB20 slim instead of RB30 slim. It’s just a half inch wider upfront. They already emailed free return shipping labels, but part of me wonders if it’s worth returning since they’re both the slim variant.

 

I actually wish i ordered the RB20s instead of 30s. I would keep them if you like them

 

I got the RB20 Slim and mounted them ‘backwards’ so they are wider in the back and better for my kid. Plenty of step room and they don’t stick out too far. Don’t think you can go wrong with the 20 or 30. I got the non-bedlined ones.

I had an order with Real Truck same deal kept saying "Pending Fulfillment" I contacted support they gave me BS answers like "wait 5-8 business days" then they said won't ship until 6/20. I said screw them and found them on ebay. Got shipped to me in 3 days and it was the same total price. I might have issues with warranty stuff through the ebay seller but I needed them this week so no other options.

 

If you order from Real Truck, just remember that the mounting brackets ship separately from the boards. Mine shipped about 10 days later.

I also have the RB20 slims, but don’t think you go wrong with the RB30s. It’s just a looks preference of the 20s being graded more or the box look of the 30s.

Yep, found that out today. Told "about 8 business days after". The order rep could have told me that last week. Oh well.

addendum: just told they are now an additional 2 weeks out. Total cluster.

 

Is everyone mounting their #3/most rearward bracket in the most rearward OEM holes?
The Go Rhino install picture shows the 3rd/most rearward bracket in the Tacoma's #3 set of double bolts (out of the possible 4).
Dont think anyone will ever sit in back, but I'm getting a bit of flex doing the foot press test, and the u-plate is visible; thinking the very back two bolts is where the 3rd bracket should go.

addendum: figured it out, moved bracket to the most rearward double holes. Flex gone (and the board cutout is not plugged by the u-mount). * Maybe this will help someone doing a search in the future.

 

I ended up going with the
RealTruck Go Rhino Dominator Xtreme DSS SideSteps instead...I think they both look good. I just liked these a tad more...

Just a friendly / helpful update as I appreciate where others do the same for me...makes it so much easier to choose accessories....

 

I passed over the DSS ones when i was looking to buy but after seeung them on your truck i wish i had bought those instead. Nice looking truck!

 

A little off topic. What size tires are you running? They looks wider than OEM.

Those are Falken 285/70/17....largest tire you can use with stock suspension and OEM mudflaps.
