I installed mine about 2 months ago. Very quick and easy install. The hardest part if it even counts is getting the stock exhaust out of the rubber hangers. But I only say that because laying on your back makes it a little tough but no big deal. From start to stop my install took me 35 mins.

As far as sound, it is very throaty. I have had a few Toyota's with exhaust and in my opinion you couldn't ask for much better, especially for the price and stainless. I know we all aren't fans of 4wheel parts but it was 298 and you get a $100 gift card.

All that said, I'm very happy with mine. Magnaflow's tend to "break in" meaning from my experiences after a few days they get a little throatier based on the packing settling into its happy place.

I'm not sure that it is a complaint, at least not for me, but at 65mph it is slightly overbearing depending on who you ask. My gf complains that its a little to loud to talk over at that speed but I don't exactly see that as a problem if you know what I mean. I'm sure you'll be happy with it!

Is there a specific Magnaflow to get? I have one on my 3.4 99 Tacoma and it sounds really nice...

I've got the off-road turn down, and I love it. Easy install like others mentioned, and a real nice sound. Light drone at certain speeds, but very tolerable.

I am seriously thinking about getting the Magnaflow offroad pro series for my 2011 DC TRD 4x4 but I am also worry about the extra interior resonance. Has anyone posted a sound clip inside the cab while at highway speed?

Getting an accurate sound-clip with my phone may prove difficult...but I'll see what I can do.

Just got it installed on my 12 prerunner. I was Lil scared because the web site said fits 05-11 but Fit like a glove. I live in Cali and bought it through amazon for 250. It's loud for my wife but hopefully overtime the muffler settles and be less annoying. I could feel the vibrations in the cabin but it tolerable.
